Wet painting is used to apply a surface protection coat to materials that are both electrically conductive and non-conductive. This technology uses conventional solvent-based PUR paints, solvent-free water-based hydro paints or VOC-compliant high-solidity paints, which - due to their high proportion of solids - have a significantly lower solvent content compared wto conventional paints.
After the mechanical and chemical preparation of the materials, they are spray-painted by robots in an automated pass-through plant or manually in individual spray booths. Then the material is cured in the oven at 50 - 100°C and mechanically finished in separate rooms if necessary.
Wet painting allows the creation of attractive surfaces on virtually all substrates. Almost all options regarding color hues, structure and effect are possible.
High quality powder coatings in nearly any color can be applied with FlexiColor®, the environmentally friendly coating procedure. Based on epoxy resin, polyester resin or polyamide, the coatings offer a uniform surface structure. They are available in different gloss levels or with structural effects.
FlexiColor® powder coatings can be applied to nearly any type of metal. Good bonding, excellent protection from corrosion and weather influences, combined with good scratch resistance and impact absorption, are the outstanding features of these coatings, along with a wide variety of surface structures.
